Queues at the Polish border: more than 2,300 cars are waiting to leave

There are long queues at the Brest checkpoint on the border with Poland.

According to the Belarusian State Border Committee, 2,335 cars and 46 buses were in line for 12 hours.

Although the number of buses in the queue has decreased compared to the previous days, when there were more than 100 buses, the situation with passenger cars remains tense. The day before, the queue reached 2,500 cars. The reasons for the congestion, according to the Belarusian side, are the slow clearance of transport by Polish services. It is reported that over the past day, Poles have issued only 40% of buses and 30% of passenger cars of the possible volume.
