Since August 2023, the number of IT companies with Belarusian capital in Poland has increased by 15%, dev.by reports with reference to data from the Center for Economic Information of Poland.
The statistics of the Polish Center for Economic Information take into account companies in which one of the shareholders (or the actual beneficiary of the company) is a Belarusian legal entity or an individual with Belarusian citizenship.
At the end of June 2024, 444 IT companies with Belarusian capital were registered in Poland. In total, Belarusians have opened more than 30 new organizations since the beginning of 2024. For comparison, in the whole of 2023, about 100 new IT companies with Belarusian capital appeared in Poland.
In total, at the end of June 2024 (the latest updated information), almost 7.1 thousand companies of various types of activities with Belarusian capital were registered in Poland, of which almost 700 were registered this year.
In terms of the number of operating companies with Belarusian capital in Poland, the IT industry remains in second place after road freight transportation.
