A discussion meeting dedicated to the third anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine was held at the University of Bialystok.
The participants discussed the causes of the conflict, its development and impact on the world, as well as possible future scenarios.
“In general, we also wanted to touch upon the issues of other international actors, including the issue of Belarus, which, of course, will be raised. We will talk about how Lukashenko’s policy has been transformed to a certain extent due to the fact that Trump is now president of the United States. He is also experiencing the opportunity to get as much benefit as possible from these negotiations, and we will certainly focus on this,” Magister Justyna Sikorska emphasized the role of Belarus in the conflict.
The meeting participants analyzed the provisions of the Agreement between Ukraine and the United States, which was expected to be signed on February 28, and discussed its implications for the region. The students also touched upon the changes in international politics and their significance for future specialists in the field of international law.
