A Polish soldier wounded by a migrant’s knife, who served on the Belarusian border, is in a state of clinical death. This was informally reported to the RMF.FM correspondent.
The soldier was stabbed by foreigners who were trying to get to Poland. The incident took place on May 28 in the Dubicze Cerkiewne gmina.
The victim was first taken to the Hajnowka’s hospital, and later transported to Warsaw. Decisions on further treatment and continuation of life support procedures are now the subject of discussion between doctors and loved ones.
According to the RAR news agency, in connection with the situation on the border, President Andrzej Duda is convening the National Security Council. Presumably, an emergency meeting of the Rada will be held next Monday, June 10.
