63% of the surveyed citizens believe that Polish soldiers should not participate in the stabilization mission in Ukraine, according to a survey published today by Opinia24 for Radio ZET.
The opposite opinion is shared by 22% of respondents who say that Polish soldiers should participate in such a mission.
An active discussion of a potential stabilization or peacekeeping mission in Ukraine began with the beginning of discussions on a cease-fire. Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz assured a few days ago that Poland would not send its military to Ukraine. He stressed that “no country bordering Russia should participate in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, as this threatens all kinds of provocations.”
