Belarus has not received an invitation to the peace conference in Switzerland

Belarusian Foreign Minister Siarhei Aleinik said that official Minsk had not received an invitation to a peace conference in Switzerland. This became known on the sidelines of the so-called All-Belarusian National Assembly.

“We have not yet received an invitation from the Swiss side. We know that such a summit is being prepared… Naturally, we proceed from the fact that any events, any conferences related to European security, without the participation of Belarus and Russia have no prospects, do not make sense,” Oleinik said.

Switzerland is convening a peace conference on June 15-16. It will be based on the peaceful formula of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. Moscow believes that the purpose of the conference is to present an ultimatum to the Russian Federation.
