Evidence of Lukashenka’s war crimes has been handed over to the UN

Pavel Latushka and the People’s Anti-Crisis Management (NAU) team handed over evidence of war crimes of the Lukashenka regime to the UN Commission, the press service of the Joint Transitional Cabinet reports.

Materials on the involvement of Lukashenko and a number of other persons in the illegal transfer of Ukrainian children to Belarus were handed over during a meeting between Deputy Head of the Cabinet Pavel Latushka and experts of the NAU with representatives of the independent international Commission for the investigation of violations in Ukraine at the UN headquarters in Vienna.

The Commission is authorized to investigate violations of human rights and international humanitarian law in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, identify responsible persons and structures, as well as provide recommendations on bringing perpetrators to justice and ensuring victims’ access to justice.

The evidence provided by the NAU team will strengthen the efforts of the international community to ensure accountability for the relevant war crimes.

The facts of the commission of war crimes by Lukashenko and his accomplices have been in the international commission, which was established by the UN Human Rights Council, since that moment.
