Polish carriers and farmers plan to block the only way of cargo transportation from Belarus to Poland.
They submitted an application to the administration of the municipality of Terespol for a protest action on highway 68 in the Koroszczyn area. The participants of the action plan to pass one truck per hour along the key highway for a month. This could result in losses of hundreds of millions of euros for Belarusian transport companies. They are already preparing a petition to the Polish authorities, demanding to prevent the blocking of the road.
The organizers of the action demand to return to the system of issuing permits to enter Poland for freight transport on Ukrainian and Moldovan plates. They also want Poland to ban the registration of transport companies with Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian capital. There are other requirements.
