An apartment in Minsk of a political prisoner – a human rights activist Uladzimir Labkovich was sold at auction. The auction started with 134 thousand rubles. Three people participated in them. As a result, the property was sold for 145 thousand 390 rubles.

It became known a little over a week ago that real estate belonging to two political prisoners, human rights defenders Uladzimir Labkovich and Valiantsin Stefanovich, was put up for an electronic auction of ‘Belyurzabespiachennie”. Labkovich’s two-bedroom apartment in the house No. 43 on Tukhacheuski Street was arrested by the decision of the investigation. The pictures show that the owners did not even take out the sunsets.

In March 2023, Uladzimir Labkovich was sentenced to 7 years in prison for helping repressed Belarusians (at that trial, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, head of the Viasna Human Rights Center Ales Bialiatski was sentenced to 10 years in a penal colony, Stefanovich to 9 years in a penal colony).

Recently, the apartment of politician Valery Tsapkala and his wife Veranika was sold through an electronic auction. Veranika Tsapkala warned the buyers of the apartment about the consequences of the purchase.
